| MY AMERICA
From the warm and welcoming
waters of the Pacific Ocean,
Mysterious fathoms below.
To the rugged faces of the
Rocky Mountians,
Snow capped through all
seasons.
To the flat and gently rolling
land of the Great Plains,
Golden wheat swaying in
the wind.
To the hustling bustling
streets of New York City,
Lights and signs from dawn
'till dusk.
This land of liberty,
Of freedom and life,
Sending us out into the
world,
Souls soaring through the
sky,
Fair and free,
And so am I.
