It happened in an instant 
 Right before our very eyes 
 What was thought to be an accident 
 Was deliberate to our demise 

 As the news began to spread 
 Across this wonderful land we live 
 Americans came together 
 For every need to give 

 How could this even happen 
 In a country so strong and true 
 Our America has been injured 
 Still flying, the red, white and blue 

 Moving onward go our hero's 
 Americans like you and me 
 Condemning this deplorable act 
 Uniting for the world to see 

 So many are still missing 
 Tears of a nation continue to fall 
 But America has sent a message 
 We forever stand proud and tall 

 This world is always changing 
 But democracy lives on and on 
 God bless us and America 
 For this war will not last long 

 Our country has been attacked 
 With a vengeance so strong and clear 
 Her liberty still stands proud 
 Waiting, for the enemy to appear 

 Where have the cowards gone 
 Being housed by less than they 
 Evil needs to be ready 
 For their demise will be our way 

 The way our great nation 
 Has taken all matters in hand 
 How dare you cause pain and suffering 
 In this, The American land 

 Retribution, we shall deliver 
 Justice, It shall prevail 
 This America is a survivor 
 Hale to Lady Liberty, Hale!
